Bay State Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Awards $16,000 in Grants to Nine Local Non-profit Organizations

WORCESTER, MA / April 2015 Bay State Savings Bank recently awarded $16,000 in grants to nine local non-profit organizations through its Charitable Foundation. Among the recipients were: Abby Kelley Foster House, Inc.; Dismas House of Massachusetts, Inc.; 15-40 Connection, Inc.; Genesis Club House, Inc.; Girls Incorporated of Worcester; Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra; Mohegan Council, Boy Scouts of America; Pernet Family Health Service, and You, Inc. Each organization received a grant to support a specific program or initiative.

“The Bank is very pleased to be able to award these grants to deserving non-profit organizations.” said Diane Giampa, Bay State Savings Bank SVP/Human Resources & Marketing and Charitable Foundation Clerk. “The work they do directly improves the lives of people in our local community, and it is important to the Bank to support that.”
