Bay State Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Awards $9,500 in Grants to Five Local Non-profit Organizations

WORCESTER, MA / October 2016 – Bay State Savings Bank recently awarded $9,500.00 in grants to five local non-profit organizations through its Charitable Foundation. Among the recipients were: African Community Education Program; Dismas House of Massachusetts, Inc.; Genesis Club House, Inc.; Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester and Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra, Inc. Each organization received a grant to support a specific program or initiative.
“Bay State Savings Bank is very pleased to be able to award grants to these deserving non-profit organizations,” said Diane Giampa, Bay State Savings Bank SVP/Human Resources & Marketing and Charitable Foundation Clerk. “The work they do positively impacts the lives of people in our local community, and we believe it is important to support their efforts.”
