Bay State Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Awards $11,425 in Grants to Seven Local Non-profit Organizations

WORCESTER, MA / October 2015 – Bay State Savings Bank recently awarded $11,425.00 in grants to seven local non-profit organizations through its Charitable Foundation. Among the recipients were: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MA/MetroWest, Inc.; The Casa Project, Inc.; Jeremiah’s Inn; Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester; McAuley Nazareth Home for Boys, Inc.; National Education for Assistance Dog Services, Inc. (NEADS), and Rachel’s Table. Each organization received a grant to support a specific program or initiative.
“The Bank is very pleased to be able to award these grants to deserving non-profit organizations,” said Diane Giampa, Bay State Savings Bank SVP/Human Resources & Marketing and Charitable Foundation Clerk. “The work they do positively impacts the lives of people in our local community, and it is important to the Bank to support their efforts.”
